Brit becomes third UK EuroMillions ticket-holder to take home jackpot after Friday's draw

Friday’s prize draw numbers has made on lucky winner £26million richer

On Friday, October 4, the EuroMillions prize draw delivered the numbers 06, 12, 18, 25, 41 with the Lucky Star numbers 02 and 06. Consequently, a single UK ticket-holder has become a multimillionaire.

One person succeeded in matching all the correct numbers to claim the £26million jackpot. This is the third occasion this year that a single UK ticket-holder has secured the evening's top prize following two Brits who claimed the Valentine's Day jackpot and the January jackpot.

To claim the EuroMillions jackpot, participants must accurately select five numbers from one to 50. Additionally, two Lucky Star numbers ranging from one to 12 must be chosen.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said according to PA: “What a fantastic night for EuroMillions players, as a single UK ticket-holder has scooped tonight’s £26M jackpot!

“That now makes it three UK EuroMillions jackpot wins so far this year, after one lucky ticket-holder won the £65 million jackpot on Valentine’s Day, and another lucky UK player won the £83 million jackpot in January.

The Thunderball game offers a smaller cash prize of £500,000 for players that can correctly guess five numbers ranging from one to 39. As well as the Thunderball number which is just a single guess between one and 14.

Mr Carter continued: “Playing any National Lottery game is more than just a chance to win, it’s a way to contribute to something much bigger. Each week, players help generate around £30M for National Lottery-funded projects.

“With over £50 billion raised for good causes since launch, this funds hundreds of projects in every postcode area across the UK.
