Paedo nurse sexually-assaulted step-son in front of dad because 'he reminded her of husband'

Alexis Von Yates, 37, was arrested in November on charges of sexual battery and lewd and lascivious molestation after the boy's father reported the incident to police

A former nurse who was caught engaging in sexual activity with her 15-year-old stepson gave a sick reason for assaulting the boy.

Earlier this month, Alexis Von Yates, 34, was jailed for two years after she pleaded no contest to a charge of lewd and lascivious battery.

She was sentenced to two years in prison in the US, followed by two years of community control and 10 years of sex offender probation. Von Yates will also have to complete 200 hours of community service, cover court costs and pay fines.

Court documents claimed Von Yates' husband, Frank Yates, walked in on his wife with his teenage stepson on the living room sofa in July last year.

Von Yates insisted that she only went after her stepson, who reportedly told police he was a virgin, because he reminded her of Yates, according to police reports. The nurse, who has now been struck off, spent the week leading up to the assault joking about her sexual appetite.

He detailed how he started kissing her neck before she began sexually assaulting him, with Yates saying: "I wish you were 18, because you're not old enough."

Von Yates then removed her underwear before engaging in oral sex and intercourse without a condom, the teen revealed.

The document also describes how they 'heard something in the garage' but 'kept going' until the boy's father walked in after returning from a late shift. As his father entered, the teenager told investigators he ran to the bathroom with his trousers around his ankles.

When questioned by his father, the boy refused to disclose what had happened, and Von Yates told her husband she had asked the boy to stop.

According to the initial arrest affidavit, the boy insisted that wasn't true and expressed fear that his father was going to hit him with a belt. After the assault, the father then drove his son to his grandparents’ house, telling the boy he “ruined his life” while drinking beer on the drive over, according to the affidavit.

Once at his grandparents' home, the boy said his grandfather dissuaded him from calling his biological mother to inform her about the incident. The following day, the teen called Von Yates who told him she wished his father hadn't caught them, the affidavit adds.

The boy's father eventually sent an anonymous tip to the police about the incident.

Since the July 2024 assault, Von Yates and her husband have separated, she disclosed in a prison remand report obtained by The Daily Mail.
