You choose to face life with equanimity that holds good and bad waves, easy and difficult days… the ocean of all feelings. You are wearing the cloak of timelessness, invisible now to the harsh ways of speed and striving. You become the surfer of subtle moods as the sea unfurls her passionate roll of emocean and you arch your liquid body to glide… becoming the surfer of brilliance and dullness, the dreamer who recognizes only the smallest difference between the mud and the shine.
The wave is luminous, it raps its tendrils around your slippery body as it plunges into the shore. The past is the undertow sucking at you voraciously while the sand pulls the moment out from under itself….
Here comes the future. You see it arching wildly from the new position: head bobbing out of deep azure liquid. Life exists in the wave, each moment clinging to its Now as it crashes on your head—Past for a long second, tugs back and Future hangs in midair… from this position you are held in perfect balance of life and time, never really outside of Now but with a flickering presence at both edges of your view.
You step out of the water dripping, sunlight explodes the droplets into instant drying as the wave yields to the force of air… taking steps upon new land, forming and reforming with every wave, a new earth… you are the first to walk upon this new earth. Grains of sand make patterns on your arms, water droplets drying, form worlds, giving way to ever new designs.
You move as animal, your skin tender as seedling: furry, purring.
Breath is the cord so lightly held, released and inhaled again…..
You admire the slender spirit thread and the comfort it provides
You are made out of new earth aglow with light.
You are waving goodbye to the wave.
As you step outside of your old skin.
Speak butterflies. Laugh meows.
Whisper tunes rhyming with all creatures.
Drink this fresh moment down to the last drop…
You are seeing through the eyes of nature,
That exists beyond the flow of time,
You have become the light perceiver
Fully engaging the inner:view…
